Healing Our Land Through Eucharistic Adoration
- May 6, 2021
There’s no sugar-coating it: Our country is going through a dark time. But we believe God is calling us to change the course of history, taking seriously our duty of Christian witness.
So beginning Thursday, May 13, 2021, we are going to act on that belief!
Please join us on the State Street corner of the Wisconsin Capitol building from 6 to 7pm on Thursday, May 13, for the first-ever Heal Our Land Holy Hour.
Together, we will adore Jesus Christ, and invite Him to make Himself fully present in our land, and by His Presence, to free it from the powers of darkness.
And this isn’t a one-off! We will continue to gather at St. Mary’s of Pine Bluff Parish for Heal Our Land Holy Hours every Thursday from May 13 until October 7th, when we will again adore Our Lord at the capitol.
Join Us From Anywhere
Not from the area? We’re here to help! For those who are interested in organizing a Thursday “Heal our Land Holy Hour” in their own parish, Fr. Heilman recommends they develop a plan and take it to their priests for support and involvement. “Don’t ask your priests to organize it,” Fr. Heilman suggests. Instead, “create a plan and bring a full Heal Our Land proposal to them.”
To make it easier for you, we’ve made our own Holy Hour program of prayers available below. Start your own Heal Our Land Holy Hour, and feel free to print off this program for your own community!
Whenever you’re ready, just join in any Thursday on or after May 13th through October 7th.
NOTE: For those who wish to “Join Heaven’s Army” in these Thursday “Heal Our Land Holy Hours,” and have not yet organized this in their own parish, our Holy Hours will all be live-streamed every Thursday from St. Mary of Pine Bluff starting May 20. Holy Hours at St. Mary of Pine Bluff will start at 6 p.m. CDT except for May 27, which will be at 5 p.m. CDT.
